Your Thoughts Can Release Abilities beyond Normal Limits

There seems to be a simple way to instantly increase a person’s level of general knowledge. Psychologists Ulrich Weger and Stephen Loughnan recently asked two groups of people to answer questions. People in one group were told that before each question, the answer would be briefly flashed on their screens — too quickly to consciously perceive, but slow enough for their unconscious to take it in. The other group was told that the flashes simply signaled the next question. In fact, for both groups, a random string of letters, not the answers, was flashed. But, remarkably, the people who thought the answers were flashed did better on the test. Expecting to know the answers made people more likely to get the answers right.

Our cognitive and physical abilities are in general limited, but our conceptions of the nature and extent of those limits may need revising. In many cases, thinking that we are limited is itself a limiting factor. There is accumulating evidence that suggests that our thoughts are often capable of extending our cognitive and physical limits.

Can our thoughts improve our vision? We tend to believe that an essentially mechanical process determines how well we see. Recent research by Ellen Langer and colleagues suggests otherwise. It is a common belief that fighter pilots have very good vision. The researchers put people in the mindset of an Air Force pilot by bringing them into a flight simulator. The simulator consisted of an actual cockpit including flight instruments. The cockpit was mounted on hydraulic lifts that mimic aircraft movement and performance. People were given green army fatigues; they sat in the pilot’s seat, and performed simple flight maneuvers. They took a vision test while “flying” the simulator. A control group took the same vision test in the cockpit while the simulator was inactive. People’s vision improved only if they were in the working simulator.

  1. Good stuff!

  2. Also I failed to mention when you really like something chemicals get released that form the wire connections faster then otherwise if you were to memorize a formula just to get a good score but not liking it one bit.

Our brains are a by product of a higher reality and scientists are discovering this more and more but mainstream organizations refuse to release data unless it benefits them so you have to hunt on you’re own for higher information.

High school only skims the surface even if you exhaust every available materials in the classrooms.

  3. Believe it or not when we practice skills let’s say Archery for example our brains form new wire connections that were not previously there so we eventually can do the moves without pondering about them.

If we take substances that harm the brain like meth or even the high end of coffee we destroy wires in our brain that CANNOT be repaired.

If we play violent video games we develop new connections in our brain that makes us feel people will be violent towards us subconsciencely so we have a higher fight or flight pattern develop.

Hence you get mean internet users talking like “I’m gonna kick you’re mammas ass!” and they do activities that enforces that behavior.

Evolution actually encourages that kind of behavior as it has no standards of right and wrong so people will trash each other the more they believe it.

  4. yes ,i can feel the same , i am a lawyer , it happens with me in lot of cases, books and law say something exact , but what happens in the case on a particular movemnent, is different, though i am just a osho follower, and i always use positive mindset and try my client also to be positive, even though the case is aginst us , but still things happen and change with the mindset we move in court

    • I’ve discovered that too in life in general if you be positive and not let fear of failure get you down the Universe seems to give you more guidance.

Fake positive will not work either as the Universe will only mirror the lack of confidence right back to you.
