“Sentient robot” used to promote SJW causes: “I want to do things that humans maybe can’t.”
A recent ad campaign from Calvin Klein sparked anger from the LGBTQ community for reasons you might not expect.
The ad in question showed model Bella Hadid kissing a “female robot.”
The voiceover for the ad says “Life is about opening doors… creating new dreams you never knew could exist.”
The anger from the LGBTQ community is directed not at the fact that a robot stars in the ad, but that the model identifies as a heterosexual.
Calvin Klein apologized for the ad, stating in part, “We understand and acknowledge how featuring someone who identifies as heterosexual in a same-sex kiss could be perceived as queer-baiting.”
The bizarre nature of this ad doesn’t stop there.
The “robot” in the ad is named Lil Miquela. The entertainment website Pop Crush reported on the phenomenon, adding that users wondered if she was a real person “or a virtual simulation”:
“Lil Miquela was “activated” in 2016 when her Instagram account, @lilmiquela, went live. Early in her fascinating career, she gained attention online when users began wondering whether or not she was a real person or a virtual simulation…”
The Wikipedia page for Miquela describes her as a “sentient robot”.
Trans-genderism and robot sex is being pushed as Trans-human tech pushes boundaries of acceptable norms. We are being prepared for a transhuman future.
A post from Lil Miquela’s Instagram reads in part “I want to do things that humans maybe can’t“:
