Oldthink: Holding on to ideas and patterns of thought not consistent with current government policy

We Are The History Makers

Old-Thinker News | May 21, 2009

By Daniel Taylor

Amidst the tragic occurrences taking place during the economic and political turmoil of our present day, there are sources of inspiration to be found. They’re not found in the hollow rhetoric that we hear daily from our national leaders calling for “change” and counterfeit government sponsored movements. Instead, look to your ancestry, the struggles they overcame, realize that we can make a difference, and re-discover what truly matters.

We face a time of great trial, but also a time of great opportunity in our personal lives and as a nation. Hard times present us with an opportunity for introspection, both individually and collectively. We have the opportunity to re-discover the America that our ancestors knew and work to bring it back.

Investigative journalist Daniel Estulin, whose information from inside Bilderberg has routinely proven accurate, states that the global elite’s plan to completely destroy the economy and ultimately lower global population by two thirds has stoked fears even within Bilderberg itself that the fallout from such chaos could ultimately result in the globalists losing their control over the world.

In a telephone interview, Estulin re-iterated his original points about Bilderberg’s 2009 agenda, which were released in a pre-meeting booklet to members. These include the notion that investors, whipped up into a false state of euphoria by the belief that the economy is recovering, are being suckered into ploughing their money back into the system as a set up for “massive losses and searing financial pain in the months ahead” as the stock market reverses its uptrend and plummets to new lows.

Our man at Bilderberg: ‘You are not allowed to take pictures of policemen!’

The Guardian
May 17, 2009
By Charlie Skelton

I need to go back a day and tell you exactly how I came to be in an Athens metro station at 8am, grappling with two strange men, struggling and yelling: “Help me somebody! Security! Please! Someone get security! Get the police!” My voice still hurts. My brain is ready to explode.

But that is today. Yesterday divides in half: the half where I flee the Bilderberg resort, too scared and strung out to remain, and the half when I have to bundle myself in a random cab and drive to the British Embassy for my own safety.

IMPERIAL, Calif. — Ten minutes into arrant mayhem in this town near the Mexican border, and the gunman, a disgruntled Iraq war veteran, has already taken out two people, one slumped in his desk, the other covered in blood on the floor.

The responding officers — eight teenage boys and girls, the youngest 14 — face tripwire, a thin cloud of poisonous gas and loud shots — BAM! BAM! — fired from behind a flimsy wall. They move quickly, pellet guns drawn and masks affixed.

According to a London Times report, U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner will probably be in attendance at this week’s Bilderberg Group meeting, as top globalists meet to plot the financial future of the planet behind closed doors.

The Times article notes that “US Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner’s public schedule is mysteriously empty for the next two days,” speculating that he will be in Vouliagmeni, Greece for the annual elitist confab, following in the footsteps of Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, who attended last year’s conference in Washington DC just months before the collapse of Lehman Brothers and the start of the economic crisis.

EU Calls for “Internet G12″ for Global Internet Governance

Old-Thinker News | May 7, 2009

By Daniel Taylor

As the EU Observer reports, Information Society Commissioner Viviane Reding has called on President Obama to fully privatize the California based Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), which manages the web address system for the internet, and build a “multilateral forum for governments to discuss general internet governance policy and security issues.” The international group would in turn “make recommendations” with regards to global internet governance.

Reding is anticipating the expiration of the ICANN contract with the U.S. Department of Commerce in September of 2009, calling for a separation of ICANN from its U.S. ties, making ICANN an international organization.
