Portents of a Collapsed Society

By Daniel Taylor

“No vice of the human heart suits it [despotism] better than egoism: a despot will be quick to forgive the people he governs for not loving him, provided they do not love one another.” - Alexis de Tocqueville, Democracy in America, 1835

“…where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” - 2nd Corinthians 3:17

Throughout history societies have developed, flourished, and collapsed; human nature has remained the same for eons. The pages of history illustrate to us that despotism and big government thrive when society is in a state of collapse. Where community has fallen, tyranny will quickly fill the void.

The system - in its mechanized, wicked desire to perpetuate itself - has convinced many of us that we will be protected and rewarded for following its directives

Our modern age manifestation of scientific tyranny is no different. A confluence of issues - both organic change and deliberate meddling - have broken our communities and deep ties to one another.

The surveillance state, which has grown dramatically over the last decade, thrives when mistrust abounds. Are there real threats? Of course there are, the world is dangerous. However, when a healthy society exists these threats are dealt with but social cohesion and trust remains. Despotism needs broken families and broken community.

The system - in its mechanized, wicked desire to perpetuate itself - has convinced many of us that we will be protected and rewarded for following its directives and turning our neighbors in to the authorities, but the truth is that we all lose. Evil will feed evil.

In all of my years of deep research into what has been called the “New World Order”, I’ve come to the conclusion that in order to defeat this system we need to individually look at ourselves in the mirror.

There is a reason that military propaganda targets the willpower and determination of its targets. Half of the battle is in the mind and soul. There is a reason that our culture is saturated with degrading imagery and self-esteem destroying filth. Big brother needs you to need him.

Our very human fiber is being targeted. Every day more people are coming to mirror the demoralized and decadent elite. This is not by accident.

Our solution lies in re-claiming our very souls and reconnecting with humanity. In every case civilizations fall when humanity is debased and loses touch with themselves, their neighbors and the wider world.

Keep your heart true.

    My contribution:

    Identity Crisis
We are born into the world without a name, history or remembered past, yet we are born free moral agents, made in the image of God, a trinity of mind body and spirit. Soon however, we are ushered into a world of manmade fictions, labels, titles, etc. At home, in the community, in school, at play, everywhere and at every turn who we were born to be is buried under rules, laws, edicts, commandments of God, customs and traditions. By adulthood, we no longer know who we are.

When asked to introduce ourselves, we repeat a name given to us by our parents, we describe our family, our work, our hobbies, likes and dislikes. Yet, these words do not actually reveal who we really are because we have forgotten.

We face an enormous challenge to recognize that the system we live under is filled with deception and fraud. We know that something is wrong, out of kilter, but we have difficulty putting our finger on it. We may spend days, weeks, months even years mulling this over in our mind, meditating in it.

The scriptures say that the mountains contain the answers. Generations of seekers have gone into the wilderness and have encountered spirits both benevolent and terrible. Though the possibility of great discovery is mixed with the threat of misadventure, we must all go into the mountains to seek these answers.

We must understand that these mountains represent the unknown aspects of our own minds. Meditation is a process of discovery, of slowly exploring how you function as a human being. Through walking in the vastness of this land, you can resolve the problems of your psyche and find the treasures buried in your soul. Like actual mountain exploration, this process is not without danger. Failure means falling into insanity and obsession. Success is to find treasures without comparison anywhere in the world.

People ask, “Is mediation necessary?” If you want to explore the innermost recesses of your mind and ascertain who you really are, there is no more ideal method. Mere introspection is not deep enough, and psychological counseling will not necessarily bring you face to face with all parts of yourself. Only the depth and solitude of meditation can help you learn everything. Discoveries are there. We must only enter the mind to find them.

(Our most difficult and important task is to discover who we really are vs. who we were programmed to believe we are.)

  3. History shows that people are vicious and always denying it.Why not just think of earth as a prison and have signs that say,”don’t steal anything and don’t kill anybody today”another sign to make people think is.”don’t even think about it”It could make the streets safer and we could live in peace and anarchy.Wheres the harm in trying?Yeah,I know it’ll never work.It might be fun though to see who it annoys the most.

    • You sir, never read any of the books you just blamed for all the isms. I can tell by the way you blame all of this on them, as they all speak against this type of behavior and do not preach war. My advice, read one some time.

  6. Excellent article! I think I need to re-read 1984 as I had forgotten about oldthink. Since I just discovered this site, I will raid your archives, even if I wind up more cynical than ever.

  8. Notice what Daniel 8:23-24 say about the Anglo-American world power

    Daniel 8:23-25 (New Century Version)

23 “When the end comes near for those kingdoms, a bold and cruel king who tells lies will come. This will happen when many people have turned against God.24 This king will be very powerful, but his power will not come from himself. He will cause terrible destruction and will be successful in everything he does. He will destroy powerful people and even God’s holy people.25 This king will succeed by using lies and force. He will think that he is very important. He will destroy many people without warning; he will try to fight even the Prince of princes! But that cruel king will be destroyed, and not by human power.”

I don’t think you can get any more detailed observation than the above scripture - written 2500 years ago
