The authoritarian system of Communist China is continuing to be praised in American media following the virus outbreak.

An article from the WSJ yesterday read:

“When the coronavirus pandemic started worsening in the U.K. last week, Jennie Lan knew where she would feel safest: China.”

Another example: Australian citizens who were trapped in Wuhan say they “now feel safer in China than they would be in Australia”.

One more: A California man who returned home from China during the outbreak says that he is “100x more concerned” about his health in the United States.

Why is this narrative being pushed so hard?
