All Americans share the shame of the charade that pretends to be the Federal Government. The governance class operates in a manner that thinks the voice of the people is irrelevant. The current shutdown of public services is a selected con game run by “Federalies” thugs. This latest extortion racket intends to break the spirit of reform and sensible opposition. The crony capitalist takeover of the health care system only benefits the corporatists. The insurance companies stand to reap tribute from the masses, while the special interest friends of the Obama syndicate get exemptions. Make no mistake, the den of thieves that defend Obamacare, as the “law of the land” is a herd of habitual liars.
The Democrats prove their symbol, the ass, is more stubborn than usual. The Senate refusal to conference with the House and observe the constitutional duties of Congress means that Senator Harry Reid and his cohorts own this shutdown. Barack Hussein Obama is busy campaigning and lecturing the recalcitrant Republican House members for not capitulating to his dictates. The hordes of zombie groups that luv Barry Soetoro still have not figured out that the promised free health care has a zinger of a cost.
The Republicans Senators, who just sit on their hands as Dingy Harry trashes and lies from the well of the chamber floor, refuses to react to Reid’s mea culpa, “saying he and his colleagues have simply gotten too personal and nasty in their floor debates.” The long silence of most GOP RINO’s is taken as implied consent, has the beleaguered public frustrated and confused.
What is at stake is the total enslavement of the populace. This confrontation is not over Obamacare alone. No, it has more to do with the very nature of the representative government. Democratic principles are not synonymous with mob rule. However, when the entrenched Senators in safe districts refuse to pass a budget and demand that continued resolutions must keep funding unnecessary programs, you get an imperial government.
Speaker John A. Boehner makes a sensible argument.
FACT: Senate Democrats haven’t passed a budget in nearly four years. The president’s is late again (for the fourth time). Neither have a plan to replace the Obama sequester.
Only now that their paychecks are on the line under the GOP-led No Budget, No Pay Act are Senate Democrats talking about passing a budget. The “no budget, no pay” effort is supported by 72 percent of the American people.
When the president finally submitted a budget last year, it received zero votes in the House and Democrat-controlled Senate. Zero.
House Republicans have routinely sought to address major challenges: the House passed budgets in 2011 and 2012 that protect and strengthen our entitlement programs for future generations; first voted to replace the president’s sequester in May 2012 and to address the rest of the “fiscal cliff” in August 2012; and more.
Folks, you are on the verge of a national crisis not seen since the Presidency of Abraham Lincoln. Over one hundred and fifty years ago, the tyrant of union supremacy caused the destruction of the constitutional republic. Today, you have a globalist cabal in change of an empire at war with its citizens. The shutdown, seen as an opportunity to marginalize the last vestige of patriotic opposition, is a tactic of coercive compliance.
The presstitute media, owned and edited by statist enablers and apologists spins a fantasy viewpoint of responsible government. The reality is that deficit spending is so systemic that the added cost of Obamacare is ignored from the debate for a revamping of the health care establishment.
An administration, so fond of claiming to be the champion of equality, is eager to pervert the ill-conceived and destructive Affordable Care Act by executive orders. Only a demented utopia is still willing to contend that the public will experience improved health care at an affordable price.
Put aside the civic funding component in all the passed House resolutions, the true cost of this shutdown centers upon the violation of the social compact bargain with the people. A true populist advocacy is realistic of the dangers and risks from power politics. However, such a representative and self-governing moral alternative requires a serious dialogue on the limits of fiat governance. It is especially, imperative to recognize when despotism becomes the normal method of any governing body.
When Tea Party activists are called domestic terrorists, the discussion transforms into pure demagogic intimidation. The police state thrives on the capitulation of scared citizens. The Disunited States of Amerika, once known as the home of the brave, now trembles in fear. Government clones are equivalent to the blue belly troops that pillaged the sovereign southern states in their quest to impose their version and vision of an authoritarian central government.
Now you may dismiss such a minor endeavor, as a small effort to change the world, but the rhetorical question is what are you doing today to confront an evil system that no longer represents the ordinary hard working family, attempting to live their lives with dignity and responsibility?
Inaction guarantees that well funded public mercenaries push through their plans for subjugation without any resistance. At bear minimum, engage and build relationships with like-minded activists willing to push back. Joining the Tea Party Community is a start. Communicate and keep informed. Sign-up for the BATR RealPolitik Newsletter and work your own mailing lists as a regular activity.
The government has encircled your neighborhood with a siege of starvation, both economically and spiritually. The establishment has raped your offspring with a financial burden and tax penalties that steal their future.
Hate the NeoCons in the Republican Party, BATR certainly does; but crawl out of your easy chair and demonstrate your support for any political figure or organization that is lobbying or pressuring the Obama administration to recognize the tremendous opposition coming from grassroots America.
Network across the web, but even more significant is to organize your own neighborhoods. “All politics is local” is not just a throw away term. It is where the rubber meets the road of your daily life. Add to your area and regional agenda, the need to confront federal agencies, whenever the destructive statists seek to enforce their punitive regulations.
This federal shutdown might be the last warning that the Chicago Saul Alinsky strategies carried out by criminal operatives in the Obama presidency are the enemy. They are annihilating radicals and extremists, dedicated to the total destruction of the country.
When Boehner says: ‘This isn’t some damn game’, the public need to act upon the warning, and participate immediately is imperative.
What will the nation look like if the political career class purges out of office all opposition to the collectivist society? The answer should be frightening to any person grounded in the history and traditions of this nation.
The POTUS is waging war on ordinary citizens. Recent presidents have been following the same script, just from different chapters. Looking for allies within the federal bureaucracy is difficult, when their latest paid vacation is just another reward for implicating the draconian policies of the Obama junto.
All those “Federalies” who walk over protestors and trash civil liberties are rapists. They betray and violate their oath of office, as protected outlaws for the system.
When the federal government shreds fundamental legal protections and perverts the law to impose government by executive orders, a federal government shutdown is not out of place. However, the Obama crew is determined on making this disruption as painful and ugly as possible. Such leadership as this deserves a toast in Hades.
The American public deserves better, but the commander of theft is hell bent on letting Senator Reid do much of the dirty work. The fearless Lou Dobbs report, Democrats’ harsh words over the government shutdown, says it all. My fellow citizens the evil anarchists are not the constitutional defenders within the Tea Party, the real nihilists and legislative arsonists are the arrogant sycophant Democrats on their Jihad campaign against Middle America.
Before you jump to a conclusion that the famous quote from Ronald Reagan is still operative, examine the sentiment of the throngs of benefit seekers who actually believe that government help is a good thing. The historically impaired reads this Reagan quip as a talking point out of the Obama playbook. Demanding your own government welfare tailored to the needs of your perceived little slice of paradise, is the new American dream. The reason why empirical evidence of a stained record and miserable failure of government programs does not resonate with the vast expanse of the great unwashed, boils down to the simple fact that the assistance deficient multitude, insist that they are owed a never ending flow of public financed payback.
What once was a healthy distrust of government cradle to grave intrusion, has become a dependency cultural birthright. With the upsurge of services and regulations, a tremendous explosion in public budgets is burying the taxpayer in a sea of debt. When more than half of the dole beggars, no longer pay taxes to their federal benefactor, it inevitably follows that the taste of free bennies, just wets the appetite for an endless feast.
If you doubt this assessment, attend a local town meeting. It all starts with local officials, knocking on every door, to apply for additional grant money to expand their town budgets. Financing bloated programs with excessive payrolls, on the backs of property owner taxpayers, has reached the point of punitive ruin. Renters have the attitude that their monthly payment entitles them to the finest and most comprehensive range of public services that someone else pays. Their goal is to become a “public servant” so that they can cash those government checks while building up their retirement fund.
As more local municipalities approach bankruptcy and petition state and federal jurisdictions for a financial lifeline, the escape from reality just pushes up to the next higher level of corruption. Enter the helpful government man, better yet, woman. At every step in the process of spreading the nonexistent wealth, the hungry parasites raise their voices for more government-baked bread. The “let them eat cake” mentality has become, You Won’t Believe This Surfer Living the Food Stamps Dream.
“Today, the federal government operates roughly 80 means-tested welfare programs, and very few promote work. American Enterprise Institute scholar Charles Murray explained to Fox News that government welfare “is systematically undermining a civic culture of independence that was a great American treasure.”
With the viral reaction to the unapologetic lifestyle of Jason Greenslate in the video, Fox News Follows California Beach Bum Living Off Food Stamps, an outraged Middle America is eager to label deadbeats as unrepentant spongers. The hypocrisy from defenders of the state extortion establishment goes unnoticed, when they devote their lives to gaming the system. The tsunami wave of abusive public expenditures is a direct result from the clamor of devoted mainstream subjects. Their calls for a new swimming pool at the local government school or for a state of the art fire truck ignore the destructive implications of taxing the homeowner out of existence.
When surfer dude thumbs his nose at the taxpayer, why is that any different when a school employee casts a ballot to raise the borrowing limit for a new bond issue that directly benefits his or her own vestige interests?
Oh, cries that the civic good demands public services that pay wage benefits based upon the great responsibility of the position is entirely a phony argument. In an economy, that is rapidly becoming a part-time privilege to find employment, the government careerist stands out as a serial abuser of the public trust. Still, the justifiable criticism leveled at the public sector needs to recognize that the typical populace not only tolerates this insult but also supports the growth and expansion of the government services.
ZeroThink writes about the quote: Hi, I’m from the Government, and I’m here to help.
“It was 25 years ago today, that President Reagan said those famous words in a speech to the Future Farmers of America. In that speech, he called them the 10 most dangerous words in the English language.
Ronald Reagan went on to say that the ongoing expansion and economic success of the USA at the time was because “… the truth is, we just got out of your way. You did it; we didn’t.”
Quite a departure from President Obama: ‘If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.’
“. . .There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me — because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t — look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. (Applause.) If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet. The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. There are some things, just like fighting fires, we don’t do on our own. I mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. That would be a hard way to organize fighting fires. . .”
Do you believe that the type of electorate that cheers the collectivist sentiment that coroneted the Obama regime, the embodiment of state despotism, would select Ronald Reagan as POTUS today?
Jason Greenslate was a baby when Reagan led the country to a fresh renewal of optimism. Nowadays there are millions of self-entitled beachcombers, deriving their living from the government dole and walking the public beaches.
Where are all the fiscally conservatives these days? Many are six feet under and the remaining are now targeted as domestic “Tea Party” terrorists. An insightful gauge on the relative health of the society can be measured by the damning attitudes towards the Tea Party movement. Who hates most, what the Tea Party represents? Just go back to another local town meeting in your community to witness the hostility towards anyone who wants to restore a modicum of fiscal sanity in civic affairs.
The disconnect between legitimate basic public services and the shameless demands for an all intrusive and ostentatious social safety net, defies not only the historic limits and relationships between citizens and government, but also relegates plain common sense to the bowels of passé panache.
Former emotional soccer moms have transformed into Saul Alinsky lobbyists. They retain their co-dependence while acquiring a crazed militancy. Giving any and all the support to make government more egalitarian and fair, includes destroying the last sectors of a free market economy.
Fundamentally, government is not in the business of helping. Most of the social engineering of the last century has done more harm and perverted cultural standards. The results of such experiments produce generations of dysfunctional dependants.
Why blame Greenslate for being the poster boy for the welfare state. Look to your neighbor if you are unable to face your own guilt in the mirror. The breakdown of society is not accidental. Genuine conservatives have been warning fellow citizens about the danger of surrendering individual liberty for the promise of secular security. This message rejected by the government class and their subordinates, is nevertheless still valid.
Refusing to deal with this destructive shift in attitude, which scorns self-reliance, leads invariably to the FEMA principle for normality. Not a new normal, but the only idealism acceptable in the “PC” acquaintance demands in support of government. How did the people do during Katrina? The federal enforcement mental asylum is the only reality that government provides. What kind of help is this?
The abandonment of rational administration, substituted with coercive governance, remains official policy. By supporting such a matrix, foolish government sympathizers are fostering the rot that cannot be intellectually unheeded any longer.
Most dismiss that the SWAT knock at the door will ever be for them, but if it is, remember that all your support for expanding the role and scope of state functions, bears your responsibility. Obama’s victimhood message, coupled with the cynicism that “you didn’t build that”, either requires you to confront a dishonest system or accept a bleak existence. Hey bro surfs up . . .
If the human race survives into the future, the history of the current age will be entitled – A Love Affair with Authority. As the 21st century unfolds, the existential struggle between group worship of government and an inherent autonomy revolt against a popular culture of state obedience seems to forecast doom for civilization. By any measurable standard of success, the prospects of rescuing a society based upon human dignity and natural law is vanishing in a technocratic system of coerced compliance and punitive punishment. The limits of individual behavior are severely restricted to the requirements of the State and the willful confines of self-induced conformity.
The prison of institutional establishment restraints, based upon a designed hallucination of media newspeak and trendy pop culture gullibility, has the populace adsorbed in trivia and addicted to a governmental version of reality. The practice of “Free Will”, relegated to the acceptance of government dependency and peer pressure harmony, is common among the ranks of the conflict challenged. The motivation of individual liberty is foreign in the cultural cloning society that makes up the collectivist public consciousness.
Before placing primary blame on the usual suspects – corporatists, banksters, and politico sociopaths – understand the fact that the top down authoritarian framework operates on the tenet that public acceptance of the system is indispensable. What possible psychological disorder is in play that differentiates the current generations from their ancestors?
This inauspicious culture, dominated by the disorder of Groupthink, is explained in an informative power point presentation, from Psychologists for Social Responsibility. From the perspective of an “application of psychological knowledge and expertise in addressing today’s pressing societal challenges and in building cultures of peace with social justice” this left learning society offers the following breakdown.
Groupthink, a term coined by social psychologist Irving Janis (1972), occurs when a group makes faulty decisions because group pressures lead to a deterioration of “mental efficiency, reality testing, and moral judgment” Groups affected by groupthink ignore alternatives and tend to take irrational actions that dehumanize other groups. A group is especially vulnerable to groupthink when its members are similar in background, when the group is insulated from outside opinions, and when there are no clear rules for decision making.
Symptoms of Groupthink
Janis has documented eight symptoms of groupthink:
1. Illusion of invulnerability – Creates excessive optimism that encourages taking extreme risks.
2. Collective rationalization – Members discount warnings and do not reconsider their assumptions.
3. Belief in inherent morality – Members believe in the rightness of their cause and therefore ignore the ethical or moral consequences of their decisions.
4. Stereotyped views of out-groups – Negative views of “enemy” make effective responses to conflict seem unnecessary.
5. Direct pressure on dissenters – Members are under pressure not to express arguments against any of the group’s views.
6. Self-censorship – Doubts and deviations from the perceived group consensus are not expressed.
7. Illusion of unanimity – The majority view and judgments are assumed to be unanimous.
8. Self-appointed ‘mindguards’ – Members protect the group and the leader from information that is problematic or contradictory to the group’s cohesiveness, view, and/or decisions.
“The groupthink theorist wants to gain standing as a social theorist and therefore wants to avoid unnecessary controversy. Accordingly, groupthink theorists—at least those like Janis and Hart—have focused on episodes where, in hindsight, the judgment of failure (or error) is uncontroversial. The need for uncontroversial judgment is one reason why the scope of groupthink applications has been quite limited.
In this article, we apply groupthink theory to a setting where the presupposition of failure is anything but uncontroversial.”
“Perhaps the clearest way to illustrate how we see the problem of social-democratic groupthink in the humanities and social sciences is to perform a thought experiment. Imagine a doctoral student who unabashedly holds classical-liberal ideas. Ask yourself whether such a student would be able to find warm support in the elite departments of political science, sociology, history, and so forth. Ask yourself whether the student, no matter how solid his research, would be likely to win grants, have his articles published by the most respected journals, and succeed on the academic job market.”
“The groupthink is so extensive that several conservative publications seem to exist only to promote the work of other, indistinguishable movement outlets. (One typical headline from the Washington Free Beacon: “Fox News Cites Free Beacon Report.”) Here the mission ranges from “use journalism to advance the movement” to “war.” As one attendee at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s annual conference told Atlantic reporter Molly Ball last year, “You couldn’t get in an argument around here no matter how hard you tried.”
“‘TC’ now rules! Few are willing to challenge the bureaucratic mechanism that is designed to compel insidious compliance. The operative standard is now one of dreadful despair while pious arguments are presented that society is advancing. Most people understand that they are now at the mercy of the commissar, but are unwilling to reject this abuse and defend their own rights. As long as this submissive Ideology is accepted, surrender is inevitable. Self-respect is in short supply, while self-esteem is fostered as a substitute for truth and honor.”
The public Groupthink is a product of the government school indoctrination, the media filter and the herd mentality to adopt acceptable behavior. The preordained outcome is the tyranny of the mob. Rewarding Idiots with Democratic Totalitarianism, invariably lead to Despotism.
“Ivory tower utopians march in the ranks of statist totalitarians by choice. Many seek to lead the charge. The “rank and file” that digs the ditches, usually lacks the skills to think independently for their self. Nonetheless, they are usually the first to rally to the cause of their sanitized Führer that preaches hope and change, with every loss of freedom. No one political theory has a monopoly on despotism. Yet the “peaches and cream” slogans of fairness and equality, that come from the ultra extreme wing of the Democratic Party, out does the worst of the GOP civil libertarian destroyers.
Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest is the end product of the collectivist education system that indoctrinates impressionable brains with reverence for the dependency society. Mush minds come out of this corrosive process. Voting for entitlements and the expansion of the democratic totalitarianism becomes the norm.”
Individual responsibility is avoided like the plague. People rationalize blame on every other factor other than their own inaction. The recent popularity of social network services and forums has demonstrated a frightening trend to extinguish Free Speech from the web. The impersonal selection of dislike or the “PC” Groupthink comments on content that offends the defenders of the cult of government are the true cowards.
The Jacobin Clubs of advocates for the public sector are prime candidates to bloody their hands in the coming terror meant to stamp out any earnest dissent against the old regime. Dropping the guillotine on the heads of anti-establishment traditionalists is good fun for the Groupthink statists that deceive themselves into believing they are “social justice” advocates.
Censorship in thought precedes freedom of behavior in deeds. Civil liberties are dirty words in the urbanity of cultural authoritarianism. Elegance of polite discourse has given way to the suppression of bourgeois demeanor. The mere mention of anything positive about Christianity earns you a trip to the re-education internment camp for social consciousness.
This perverted cultural Groupthink is a religion of government worship. The reason “Strappado Wrack” essays are termed political torture, resides in the absurdity of the failed political process that has brought us all to the point of total tyranny. The believers that cling to a faux legitimacy of the Federal government are codependent Groupthink asylum nutcases.
The Federal beast would collapse of its own weight, when the enablers of the oppression seek to heal their affliction and turn away from the dark side. The Janis #3 point – Belief in inherent morality – Members believe in the rightness of their cause and therefore ignore the ethical or moral consequences of their decisions is at the axis of the destruction in the character and courage that once existed in this country.
Government group thinkers are wholly confused or simple dishonest participants. The duty of every loyal citizen is not to the state but to the spirit of the America Revolution.
“The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 generally bars the military from law enforcement activities within the United States. But today, some local and city police forces have rendered the law rather moot. They have tanks – yes, tanks, often from military surplus, for use in hostage situations or drug raids – not to mention the sort of equipment and training one would need to deter a Mumbai-style guerrilla assault.”
World Net Daily offers a sad chronicle in the essay, The growing militarization of U.S. police.
“The SWAT concept was popularized by Los Angeles Police Chief Darryl Gates in the late 1960s in response to large-scale incidents for which the police were ill-prepared. But the use of SWAT teams has since exploded. Massive SWAT raids using military-style equipment are becoming routine methods for executing search warrants. One study estimates 40,000 such raids per year nationwide:
“These increasingly frequent raids… are needlessly subjecting nonviolent drug offenders, bystanders, and wrongly targeted civilians to the terror of having their homes invaded while they’re sleeping, usually by teams of heavily armed paramilitary units dressed not as police officers but as soldiers.”
Mr. Whitehead is correct as usual. Unfortunately, few other constitutional conservatives seem to have the courage to criticize the thin blue line of establishment regulators.
In a rare moment of real civil liberties concern, the ACLU in The Militarization of Policing in America, initiates a worthwhile project.
“American neighborhoods are increasingly being policed by cops armed with the weapons and tactics of war. Federal funding in the billions of dollars has allowed state and local police departments to gain access to weapons and tactics created for overseas combat theaters – and yet very little is known about exactly how many police departments have military weapons and training, how militarized the police have become, and how extensively federal money is incentivizing this trend. It’s time to understand the true scope of the militarization of policing in America and the impact it is having in our neighborhoods. Since March 6th, ACLU affiliates in 25 states filed over 260 public records requests with law enforcement agencies and National Guard offices to determine the extent to which federal funding and support has fueled the militarization of state and local police departments.”
One of the “so called” unintended consequences of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars is the intentional indoctrination of troops into the culture of excessive force, citizen combatant threats and indiscriminate brutality. The suppression of common law natural rights is the ultimate causality of this deranged and profane mind control.
The study Can a Veteran go into Law Enforcement after a PTSD Diagnosis?, inquiry provides a useful comparison chart of several police agencies. The summary concludes that several agencies stated that they had hired individuals with histories of PTSD and most agencies did not have specific protocols for evaluating PTSD.If military training becomes instinctive and reactive, treating civilians as expected terrorists, why would society presume that stateside transition into a police academy course will purge the damaging traits of urban warfare?
Behind the curtain of “public safety” the real controllers adopt and practice their perverse version of, The Psychopathic Influence, that dominates the domestic police mentality.
Both the financial elite and their servants who maintain this system, appear to exhibit behavior that is consistent with symptoms associated with a medical disorder known as psychopathy.(*) Psychopaths, also called sociopaths, are categorized as those who exhibit superficial charm and intelligence, and are absent of delusions or nervousness. Their traits include:
- Frequent lying
- Deceitful and manipulative behavior (either goal-oriented or for the delight of the act itself)
- Lack of remorse or shame
- Antisocial behavior
- Poor judgment and failure to learn by experience
- Incapacity for love
- Poverty of general emotions
- Loss of insight
- Unresponsiveness in personal relations
- A frequent need for excitement
- An inflated self-worth
- An ability to rationalize their behavior
- A need for complete power
- A need to dominate others
Often candidates with such a Napoleonic complex, demonstrate that they really are “little men”, when it comes to their desire to become goons. The Police Are Paramilitary Thugs, makes a valid point.
“In America, our cops are becoming less and less distinguishable from the security apparati of 1970s-era petty dictatorships in Central and South America. Where once they wore uniforms which were appropriate to civil servants, albeit ones with guns, they now don the habiliments of what more closely resembles a paramilitary organization, and they have the bullying, menacing, we’re-above-the-law attitudes to go along with them. These attitudes are demonstrated in this video, which unambiguously shows one such paramilitary — what point is there in referring to them any longer as “cops” since that term suggests a civil role? – Seizing a video recording device from an innocuous bystander. The transparently absurd justification for the seizure was that the device contained evidence that the person being arrested was “resisting”, and therefore, they were entitled to take it.”
The destructive role of federal involvement in local police functions is discussed in How Cops Became Soldiers: An Interview with Police Militarization Expert Radley Balko. How did 9/11 alter the domestic relationship between the military and police?
“It really just accelerated a process that had already been in motion for 20 years. The main effect of 9/11 on domestic policing is the DHS grant program, which writes huge checks to local police departments across the country to purchase machine guns, helicopters, tanks, and armored personnel carriers. The Pentagon had already been giving away the same weapons and equipment for about a decade, but the DHS grants make that program look tiny.
But probably of more concern is the ancillary effect of those grants. DHS grants are lucrative enough that many defense contractors are now turning their attention to police agencies — and some companies have sprung up solely to sell military-grade weaponry to police agencies who get those grants. That means we’re now building a new industry whose sole function is to militarize domestic police departments. Which means it won’t be long before we see pro-militarization lobbying and pressure groups with lots of (taxpayer) money to spend to fight reform. That’s a corner it will be difficult to un-turn. We’re probably there already. Say hello to the police-industrial complex.”
The predictable consequences of the dominance from DC, is that the district of criminals impose a system that inevitably results in Botched Paramilitary Police Raids. An interactive map of botched SWAT and paramilitary police raids, released in conjunction with the Cato policy paper “Overkill: The Rise of Paramilitary Police Raids,” by Radley Balko, illustrates his contention.”To Protect and Serve” is now an euphemism for breaking heads. Police Thugs Claim They’re Here to “Serve” wants you to believe that “police are basically the same all over the world: they describe their role of carrying out the force and coercion required by those wanting to control others as being a role of “serving the people.” Those who are at the receiving end of the force and coercion are usually submissive and question nothing.” Tell that to Adam Kokesh.
The “Code of Silence” enables The Militarization of American Police, to blow smoke on a gullible public. Accountability and recourse is a myth. The SWAT system whacks the public as if they were nuisance flies.
“Police supporters claim the public already has plenty of oversight. But observers always find the same pattern: The internal investigations are not public, and the deputies stay on the force with no obvious punishment. The DA exonerates the deputies. The grand jury only gets involved in the most highly publicized cases, and such juries are controlled by the DA and represent a narrow, conservative demographic. (Around here, it’s mostly retired government workers who can afford to spend half their day working at the court for virtually no pay.) When a member of the public files a complaint with a police or sheriff’s department, it typically takes months to hear anything back. Then the only legal requirement is for the agency to say whether the complaint was “sustained” or “not sustained.” Such complaints are rarely sustained.”
The psychotic statists that have no problem with the militarization of law enforcement are enemies of the people. How far has this country fallen . . . Listen to the fateful words of the nature of the police by the original Godfather of the Chicago Gestapo. The demented and mentally deranged oligarchy, who is at war with the American public, is the true terrorist. Police need to examine, recite and act upon the Oath Keepers – Declaration Of Orders We Will Not Obey.
The 4th of July should be a day of historic retrospection. For a proper understanding into the significance of the birth of the nation, start with an examination of the perennial BREAKING ALL THE RULES essay, The Meaning of Independence Day. Then contrast our circumstances and heritage in the article – Independence Day for Whom? Both of these columns are essential. If one forgets from where, how and why our country was created, it is impossible to appreciate the uniqueness of the American Revolution and the meaning of the “shot heard ‘round the world”.
Before the American War for Independence in 1776, the colonized part of what is today the United States of America was a possession of England. It was called New England, and was made up of 13 colonies, which became the first 13 states of the great Republic. Around 1750, this New England was very prosperous. Benjamin Franklin was able to write:
“There was abundance in the Colonies, and peace was reigning on every border. It was difficult, and even impossible, to find a happier and more prosperous nation on all the surface of the globe. Comfort was prevailing in every home. The people, in general, kept the highest moral standards, and education was widely spread.”
When Benjamin Franklin went over to England to represent the interests of the Colonies, he saw a completely different situation: the working population of this country was gnawed by hunger and poverty. “The streets are covered with beggars and tramps,” he wrote. He asked his English friends how England, with all its wealth, could have so much poverty among its working classes.
His friends replied that England was a prey to a terrible condition: it had too many workers! The rich said they were already overburdened with taxes, and could not pay more to relieve the needs and poverty of this mass of workers. Several rich Englishmen of that time actually believed, along with Mathus, that wars and plague were necessary to rid the country from man-power surpluses.
Franklin’s friends then asked him how the American Colonies managed to collect enough money to support their poor houses, and how they could overcome this plague of pauperism. Franklin replied:
“We have no poor houses in the Colonies; and if we had some, there would be nobody to put in them, since there is, in the Colonies, not a single unemployed person, neither beggars nor tramps.”
His friends could not believe their ears, and even less understand this fact, since when the English poor houses and jails became too cluttered, England shipped these poor wretches and down-and- outs, like cattle, and discharged, on the quays of the Colonies, those who had survived the poverty, dirtiness and privations of the journey. At that time, England was throwing into jail those who could not pay their debts. They therefore asked Franklin how he could explain the remarkable prosperity of the New England Colonies. Franklin replied:
“That is simple. In the Colonies, we issue our own paper money. It is called ‘Colonial Scrip.’ We issue it in proper proportion to make the goods pass easily from the producers to the consumers. In this manner, creating ourselves our own paper money, we control its purchasing power and we have no interest to pay to no one.”
The central struggle that has plagued the fledgling country between true independence and a spin off version of British mercantilism has persisted since 1776. In the beginning: Let there be the Articles of Confederation presents the background on the fundamental reason for fighting the American Revolution; namely, independence – the essence of Inherent Autonomy. The Articles of Confederation was Preferable argues, “Only a systemic dismantling of that central government, returning primacy back to individual states will restore the vision of the American Revolution”.
“One of the clearest examples of the importance the neocons assign to the Lincoln legend in supporting never-ending war is a small book by an American Enterprise Institute neocon named Walter Berns. His book is entitled Making Patriots. In an important chapter on Lincoln mythology Berns bemoans the fact that too many of today’s youth are too hesitant to join in the neocons’ crusades to overthrow governments in place like Syria, Lebanon, Iran, North Korea, and elsewhere. They are too selfish and self-centered, says Berns, being so preoccupied with their own education, careers, and families. They must be mesmerized into the fascist/neocon militaristic mindset by some kind of “national poet,” says Walter Berns. “Fortunately,” he says, we already have such a “poet” in the political rhetoric of Abraham Lincoln. “Making Cannon Fodder” would thus be a more appropriate title for Berns’ book.”
The egomaniacal presidencies of Theodore Roosevelt, Woodward Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt, all fermented an internationalist empire, is the antithesis of the original purpose of the founding of the country.
Independence is dead, because the nation is no longer a republic of sovereign states. Even those who dismiss the superiority of the Articles of Confederation and proclaim primary allegiance to the U.S. Constitution must concede that the “Bill of Rights” no longer exists.
In its place is a system of bureaucratic treason dominated by the power of fiat debt money. That “happier and more prosperous nation on all the surface of the globe” now reduced to a society where “The streets are covered with beggars and tramps”, has no sensible reason to celebrate the imperium regime.
The End of Independence Day is upon us. However, our solemnization of the American Revolution remains.
The traditional conservative America First populism that is our heritage goes unheeded by most citizenry. It seems illogical that people will continually endorse or even give rudimentary support to a system that is lethally hostile to individual liberty. Nonetheless, that is exactly the state of affairs that we live underneath, with no reasonable expectation of altering constitutionally.
Independence, both personal and juristically are tagged as terrorist defiance. Accountability of arrogant autocrats goes unpunished.
An American Renaissance Revolution is the solution. “In order to fulfill the objectives of 1776, the original conflict must finish the task that was never completed. Western Civilization is worth saving. Our true cultural heritage must survive. And secular humanism needs to be cast into the pit of hell fire.”Can you afford many more years of betrayal? The 1776 declaration stands for liberty.
The commentary, No Despotism – Only Independence espouses the case for self-rule.
“The answer to defeat despotism is found in the revelation of INDEPENDENCE. While not a perfect guarantee for victory or a formula to replace a fallen human nature; autonomy among your own similar kind, is the inherent right for governance. Independence is the antidote to despotic corruption. Relief from mob lunacy, under the domination of gangster direction, is found in the model of an authentic Republic.”
Regular readers are familiar with numerous examples of government subversion. Any bystander intuitively knows that the system no longer works for the average American. However, countless citizens still want to cheer for a government that long ago forfeited any legitimacy. How strange a society that champions wars and plague as necessary to rid the country from man-power surpluses. What has changed among the Lordly elites from the colonial era?
It is ironic that Congressman Charles G. Binderup emigrated with his parents from Denmark, understood the nature of the American experience, while legions of government-schooled clones are so clueless. The globalists that control the political apparatus are dedicated anti-liberty fascists. The corporatists of today are English Crown Tory descendants, no matter their origin. The death lyric of independence is the choir in the requiem hymn of the Republic. Ben Franklin’s jubilate assessment, has witnessed the methodical destruction of the spirit of Independence Day with each succeeding year.
“Senators struck a deal Thursday to boost border security in the immigration bill, including building 700 miles of fence and adding 20,000 Border Patrol agents to the Southwest, in a move those on both sides say could clear the way for a bipartisan vote next week.”
The next complicity cover comes from the bureaucratic CBO accomplice.
“CBO estimates that fixing our broken immigration system will reduce federal deficits by about $200 billion over the next 10 years, and about $700 billion in the second decade. The CBO analysis made clear that the additional taxes paid by new and legalizing immigrants would not only offset any new spending, but would be substantial enough to reduce the deficit over the 20-year window.”
“The Senate’s pending immigration bill would boost investors’ and owners’ share of the economy for at least twenty years, and shrink some Americans’ wages and salaries for at least 10 years, according to a report from the Congressional Budget Office.”The rate of return on capital would be higher [than on labor] under the legislation than under current law throughout the next two decades,” says the report, titled “The Economic Impact of S. 744.”
Now review the video from the Heritage Foundation on Scoring the Immigration Reform Bill: An Analysis of the CBO’s Numbers. You can trust Krikorian, Beck, Brimelow and Buchanan on the immigration issue, so why not acknowledge that the Heritage’s assessment on the actual costs from the amnesty legislation is the valid appraisal.
“After the Citizens United ruling, I warned on VDARE.com: “No matter what the constitutional merits of the Supreme Court’s decision, this could be a disaster for patriotic immigration reform.”
If you listen to conservative talk radio, you will certainly be familiar with ads from the 501(c)4, Americans for a Conservative Direction, funded by that great conservative Mark Zuckerberg, claiming that Gang of 8 Amnesty-Surge bill is really “toughest immigration-enforcement measures in the history of the United States” and gives us “border security on steroids.” And, of course, Crossroads has its own blitz of pro-amnesty ads, and a coalition of big money GOP donors who support amnesty.”
Amnesty is tantamount to the elimination of the last remains of the middle class. The prospect of derailing this juggernaut through Congressional action is inconceivable as long as cowardly conservatives capitulate to their corporate donors. Even more absurd are the lobotomized liberals. They purport to be champions of the worker, but are willing and eager to destroy any meaningful employment for their own compatriots.
Where is that elusive fairness for our own citizens? Soon the remnant economy will be reduced to the same level of third world exploitation, with the United States being the biggest loser. No wonder that the media presstitutes over at NBC, push their hit program – by the same name – to a dullard public.
Facts no longer matter to most masses. Understanding their self-interest is even more obscure. Exploiters use these shortcomings to their advantage. Accepting an amnesty capitulation illustrates the triumph of global corporatists over the merchant class that built the wealth creation economy. For this reason alone, it is imperative that sane citizens demand a reasonable and rational rejection of the proposed Senate bill.
“Now, amnesty proponents know they have to shake up the game. The latest trick is an amendment by Sens. Corker (R-TN) and Hoeven (R-SD). The amendment solves nothing; the amnesty will still come before enforcement. It’s simply a ruse to give the impression that the bill has changed since all of your calls and faxes were sent.
We now expect a vote on the Corker-Hoeven amendment on Monday and a final vote on Thursday. Both need 60 votes for passage. Before Thursday’s vote, we need all our members to call their senators and tell them you still oppose amnesty before enforcement!
There has NEVER been a vote in Congress as critical for preserving America and its prosperity. This bill simply cannot pass. We’re glad that hundreds of thousands of you have used NumbersUSA’s toll-free calls, free services, and we are so grateful for your activism.”
How many Americans will gets off their back side and challenge their Senators? Register an ultimatum. A vote in favor of amnesty means all out political war. Any incumbent that refuses to secure the borders needs to face a serious primary challenge. Nevertheless, perceptive political onlookers have a chilling feeling that this round of legislation will be the toughest to defeat.
The reason is simple. The secular society is rooted in self-destruction. Common sense no longer has a place in the immigration hysteria. Relinquishing traditional standards and historic values in representative government has produced a Congress that walk lock step in unison with big business.
The opportunity culture has become the entitlement society.
“If amnesty passes, is it time to ditch the GOP and start a new party? (Or would it already be too late?)
Too late. If the Rubio amnesty bill passes, the country will be finished. There will be no point in fighting for anything anymore. All we will have left to do is take revenge on the people who destroyed this country, starting with desecrating Teddy Kennedy’s grave and moving on to primarying every Republican who voted for it.”
There is a death wish bent on collapsing the productive economy. Transnational businesses want an implosion and the inevitable reduction and permanent subsistence level of wage scales. The mercantilist is in the business of manufacturing monopolies.
After eons of debating the particulars of the negative consequences inevitable from accepting any and all of those hallowed huddled masses, by skipping the Ellis Island examination, the final extermination of the American experiment is in sight. That profound are the stakes.
The public fears the label of racist, and shuns a healthy aspiration that earns the respect of defenders of our noble heritage. For many, surrendering to authoritarian progressivism is a badge of dishonor, but most view such submission as a small price to pay to be accepted.
